"NATURE NEVER FORGIVES"
Speaking at the seedling donation event on the morning of June 2 in Loc Tan commune (Bao Lam, Lam Dong), Father John Bosco Hoang Van Chinh – Director of Caritas Da Lat, quoted a Spanish proverb saying: "God always forgives, man forgives from time to time, and nature never forgives". If we don't treat nature well, we will lose our resources and cause a lot of harm to human health.
Lam Dong is a mountainous province with ethnic minorities accounting for 25.72% of the population, living mainly by small-scale farming, farming and animal husbandry. Due to the trend of monoculture farming, abuse of herbicides and chemical fertilizers, causing land degradation, environmental pollution, the health of producers and consumers is seriously affected.
Caritas Da Lat is a community organization that has supported people to realize that ecological agriculture is the solution, people began to learn, stop herbicides, gradually reduce pesticide fertilizers and aim to farm without chemical fertilizers, improve the ecosystem by planting a variety of plants in gardens that are growing monoculture.
The transition takes place gradually according to the awareness and resources of the community. Contributing seedlings of all kinds is a specific way to support this process, intercropping, planting canopy trees, forest trees, and fruit trees to transform ecological agriculture towards sustainable and comprehensive development for the people.
The seedling donation program supports more than 600 households to transform ecological agriculture in 13 communities of the K'Ho, Cil, Churu, M'Nong, Ma and Chau Ma communities,... in 5 districts of Dam Rong, Bao Lam, Di Linh, Duc Trong, Don Duong, (on average, each household receives about 600 thousand seedlings) a total of about 350 million VND.
TreeBank has divided the project into 7 packages and has now received the participation of the community and 5 businesses including TH Group, Menitems, OPES Insurance Joint Stock Company, Dani Joint Stock Company, and OMverse.

Therefore, OPES is very pleased to accompany TreeBank, as well as expects to replicate more O.Gardens in the future in many parts of the country," Ms. Pham Thi Huong Giang, Director of Communications and Marketing of OPES, shared at the tree donation ceremony.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, pharmacist and researcher on vegetarian cosmetics of DANI Joint Stock Company, who has a lot of attachment to the land of Lam Dong, shared his thoughts on the degraded environment and the desire to improve the ecology in this land.
At the community stilt house, TreeBank and its partners and colleagues can experience the culinary culture, gongs, xoan dance and unique national costumes of the Chau Ma people.
Previously, on June 1, Treebank distributed 1000 pine trees to Farm 81+ (Dai Lao commune, Bao Loc, Lam Dong). The tree planting activity here has the participation of many local children and families – a meaningful activity for the next generation...
