This morning, in the protection forest area of Dau Tieng lake, Tay Ninh province, TreeBank held the 6/6 Tree Planting Business Day.
This year's event is co-organized by the Development Communication Research Institute (RED), Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM) and OMverse Group with the theme "Planting Dau Tieng Lake trees – preserving water in the Southeast region".
This is the 5th annual community tree planting event organized by TreeBank in the south, aiming to connect the business community and realize ESG and CSR commitments with specific actions.
The event was supported by the Tay Ninh Department of Agriculture and Environment, Dau Tieng Protection Forest Management Board, Tay Ninh Forest Protection Department, Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xuan – Member of the National Assembly, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Tay Ninh expressed his support for tree planting activities, contributing to water security for the Southeast key economic region, towards the goal of net zero, sustainable development of Vietnam.

Dau Tieng Lake is considered as the "heart" of regulating domestic water sources and production in the Southeast region, so restoring the protection forest around the lake is not only an environmental activity, but also a long-term green infrastructure solution, contributing to protecting water sources, reducing the risk of water scarcity, etc landslides and ecosystem degradation.
The number of trees contributed this season is 15000 trees, TreeBank would like to thank the co-organizers, associations, businesses, partners, local representatives and all participants for being present, acting together and spreading the spirit of sustainable development.
